Coffee Nap better than Coffee Or Nap alone: Coffee nap is 1 key thing to enjoy coffee

A Coffee nap, or coffee power nap to regain energy, is a way better than just taking a coffee or a nap. This is agreed by scientists. It is also called caffeine nap/power nap. Just watched the YouTube and would like to share this piece of coffee habit to make everyone enjoy a cup of coffee with a caffeine nap.

According to the video, it is more effective than drinking coffee or taking a nap solely for getting back energy. So, you may also try this way too: drinking a coffee AND THEN taking a nap, i.e. a COFFEE NAP or a Power Nap or a Caffeine Nap.

1. How does caffeine react with our body?

Let’s learn about how caffeine works in our bodies in the first place.

The caffeine has to go into the small intestine, pass into the bloodstream, and enter the brain.

2. How long does it take for caffeine to be effective?

This takes about 20 minutes.

3. How long is a coffee nap that could help?

If you spend the 20 minutes for a nap when the caffeine is going into the body, you are going to wake up feeling pretty great.

4. Why do people feel tired?

That is adenosine in the brain making people feel tired.

5. How does adenosine make people feel tired?

Adenosine plugs into little receptors inside the brain cells and makes people feel tired. It builds up through the day whenever there is brain activity and it starts to slow down neutrons.

6. What is adenosine and how is adenosine created?

Adenosine is a molecule inside the brain. Adenosine is a by-product of brain activity. So it builds up through the day.

7. How does coffee nap work?

Caffeine chemically looks like adenosine.

When we ingest caffeine and it enters your brain, it blocks adenosine from fitting into those receptors. Thus, caffeine keeps the brain from slowing itself down by blocking adenosine from fitting into those receptors.

With caffeine naps, sleep naturally clears out adenosine from the brain. So the caffeine doesn’t even need to compete with adenosine to fit into those receptors.

8. Any evidence a coffee nap can help to gain energy a more effective way?

There are not a huge body of work but there are a few different studies.

8.1 Driving simulator scenario

When people took a 15 min power nap, they went on to commit fewer errors in a driving simulator than when they only drank coffee or only took a nap.

As the test subjects were doing this really boring driving simulation, they were asked every 3 min to report their sleepiness level. And the caffeine nap group was consistently more alert.

8.2 A Japanese study by memory tests

This study found that people who took a caffeine nap performed a lot better on a series of memory tests.

9. What is the challenge of a coffee nap?

The challenge of a caffeine nap is to time it just right.

10. How to do an effective coffee nap?

Drink the coffee quickly and set an alarm to time the nap.

You want to drink it quickly, so it maybe you could do espresso shots or iced coffee if that makes it easier. And then set an alarm before you fall asleep to wake up within 20 min.

11. Is it good to have a coffee nap too long?

If you nap too long, you’re much more likely to enter deeper stages of sleep, and you’ll have what scientists call sleep inertia, which is basically grogginess.

12. Is a coffee nap effective if people do not fall asleep easily?

If you have trouble falling asleep that quickly, the studies found that you can still benefit from the caffeine nap.

Even just drinking the caffeine and getting a few minutes of restful half-sleep half-awakeness is going to make you feel more alert when you do get up 20 min later.

What is coffee nap is explained above. I do take a nap sometimes at the afternoon to make myself have a good sleep at night. After watching this video by Vox, I may add a cup of coffee before the nap. Because it doesn’t only help my sleep at night, but also a jolt of energy in daytime.

I like enjoying a cup of coffee in a slow manner when I am free. So it is not easy to drink it quick when it is for relaxing time. But if it is for energy boost up, it is great to have a try of a caffeine nap, a quick cup of expresso and then set an alarm for 20 min nap. Coffee nap science and coffee nap benefits info are explored above.

Hope you enjoy a cup of coffee no matter it is a quick one with a coffee nap afterwards or a slow one to taste the life!

Throughout this grand design of things you receive an A+ with regard to effort. Exactly where you confused us was in your facts. As as the maxim goes, the devil is in the details… And that could not be much more true in this article. Having said that, permit me tell you what did work. Your article (parts of it) is definitely really persuasive and this is probably the reason why I am making an effort in order to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. 2nd, while I can see a jumps in logic you make, I am not sure of exactly how you appear to unite the ideas that produce the actual conclusion. For right now I will, no doubt yield to your point however hope in the future you actually connect the dots better.
